She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Sparks (R. L.); her parents, Claude Shuler and Mae Irwin Shuler of Maryville, TN; and her parents-in-law, James Washington Sparks and Martha Tipton Sparks of Maryville, TN.
She is survived by: her brothers, Jack Shuler and Donald Shuler; her children, Randy Sparks, Sandy Curtis (Bruce) and Karen Smith (David); her siblings, Phyllis Burchfield (Doug), Christine Moss (Jerry) of Maryville, Curtis Shuler and Ronald Shuler (Pam) of Maryville; her grandchildren, Leanne Sparks Lane, Casey Boswell (Jake), Travis Sparks, Emmery Snyder (Kyle), Dalton Curtis (Caroline), Madison Smith and Makenzie Williams (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Lauren Graves, Jeremi, Jackson, Madelyn-Claire Boswell, Payten Goodman, Hunter Sparks, Rhett Williams, Henry, Lola Curtis and Sloane Snyder. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel (915 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803).
