He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Griffith (Marge); and his sister Carol Voss. He is survived by: his son Steven Griffith; his daughter-in-law Fusun Couleur; his grandchildren, Jem Griffith and Eileen Griffith; his son Daniel Griffith (Mary); his brother Michael Griffith (Pat); and his sister-in-law Patricia Ausdenmoore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ron and Marge's name to the Farragut Presbyterian Church.
