It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Kay Zappa of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Dean Thompson; and her brother Thomas Steele. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Rocco Zappa Jr.; her sister Barbara Mickey; her children, Kelly Thompson, Chris Zappa (Kristen) and Jamie Zappa (Joni); and her grandchildren, Davis, Kelsey, Harrison, Tad, Andrew, Rocco, Jacob and Jessa. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
