He is survived by: his children, Anja Parker (Andrew), Melanie Course (Tyler) and Rainer Phelps (Marsha); and his great grandchildren, Lamar Lively, Brianna Lively, Tonja Lively, Justin Steele and Carol Steele (Celia Quintanan). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
