He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Brandon (Karoline) of Norris, TN and Heidi of Maryville; his grandchildren, Noah, Sarah, Rebekah Berg, Phillip, Joseph and Daniel Truett; and his siblings, Kathy Still (Bob), Alan Berg (Linda), Eric Berg (Lisa) and Glen Berg (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer's TN or to Scouts BSA Troop 87 in Maryville.
