It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Andrew McClanahan (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Sport" McClanahan and Dorothy "Lucille" McClanahan; and his wife Rita McClanahan. He is survived by: his sons, Eddie McClanahan (Tanya) and Tony McClanahan; his grandchildren, Amanda Cotton (Travis), Whitney McClanahan and Lauren McClanahan; his great grandchildren, Macie Cotton and Lincoln James; and his brothers, Don and Wayne (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
