It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Buchanan Snoderly of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Buchanan and Rebecca Mary LeQuire Buchanan; and her sister Charlotte Elizabeth Buchanan. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert Mack Snoderly; her daughters, Anna Snoderly Mills (William Ambrose Mills III) and Laura Snoderly Croom (Nathan Randolph Croom); her grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Mills, William Ambrose Mills IV and Audie Randolph Croom; and her brothers, William Olin Buchanan (Sarah Prentiss Buchanan) and James Edgar Buchanan (Beverly Tubbs Buchanan).
She was a 1961 graduate of East Tennessee State College where she studied art, was the editor of the yearbook, and was the President of Wesley Foundation.
