She was predeceased by: her former husband William H. West; and her son Jeffrey Scott West. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen West of Ft Lauderdale and John West of Knoxville; her daughters-in-law, Leonora and Cindy; her sisters, Vada Mills and Linda Webb; her siblings-in-law, Johnny Webb and Trula Young; and her husband Billy. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Phyllis requested that there be no long drawn out receiving of friends. And that in lieu of flowers, either donate to a favorite charity or preferably to the Field of Dreams of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
