With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Jay Griffin (Maryville, Tennessee), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Griffin and Edith Davis; his wife Greta M. Griffin; and his children, Richard J. Griffin and Susan A. Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Jo Summers, Nancy Harrison (Brent), Steven J. Griffin and Judith Williams; his grandchildren, Janna, Josh King and Katie Griffin (Colton McNabb); his children, Taylor and Crissi Harrison; his great grandchildren, Waylon Bennett and Ronnie Harrison; his daughter-in-law Lorie Griffin; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Blanchard, Vonna Coburn and Ramon Gomez; and his friends, Earl Colvin and Larry Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
