He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Coning Butler; his sons, William Butler (Robin True) and James Butler; his niece Teresa Swaney Edmondson; his grandchildren, Tyler Butler (Autumn) of Kenmore and Megan Butler of Knoxville; his nephew Troy Butler; and his great-nephew Troy Lee Butler.
