She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Helton and Mary Whaley Helton; her husband James Lee Stephens; her siblings, Howard, Kenney, Lamon, Earl, David, Delmar, Ambrose Helton, Frances, Mattie and Grace Helton Joslin; and her daughter-in-law Rolena Stephens.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Josephine Helton; her children, Horace Lee (Billie Stephens), Doyle Edwin (Pat Stephens) and Mary Jane; her son-in-law Don Turbyfill; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Katie Stephens, Joshua, Lisa Stephens, Diana, Ken Lennox, Jennifer Qualls, Andrea Knight, Becky Stephens, Rennay Melton, Stephanie, AJ Daniels, Mary Elizabeth and Edwin Shaumberg. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
