He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm "Tom" Stout and Dorothy Stout (West); his in-laws, Vernon and Ola Reynolds (Whitehead); his siblings, Bill Stout, Jim Stout, Wayne Stout and Doris Kennedy (Stout); and his siblings-in-law, Irene Stout, Edna Carol Reynolds and Billy Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Stout (Reynolds); his children, Donna Wiggins (Kenny) and Steve Stout (Susan); his grandchildren, Katie Gregory (Caleb), Maegan Helton (Chase), Cody Wiggins (Rachel), Haley Gordon (Ben) and Anna Long (Gabe); his great grandchildren, Amos, Winnie Gregory, Easton Helton, Charli, Tripp Gordon, Jonah and Simon Wiggins; his sister Freda Keith (John); and his siblings-in-law, J. B. Kennedy, Donald Reynolds and Kathleen Reynolds.
