He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack O. Brooks and Gail W. Brooks; his brother Andy Brooks; and his sister-in-law Mara Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his pet Oliver; his brothers, David of Knoxville and Gary (Sandi) of Indianapolis; his siblings-in-law, Ron and Patty Fike of Webster, NY; and his close friend Jeff Salyers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
