It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Phillips of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Louisville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Phillips; her mother Ada Bell Patty of Louisville; and her siblings, Billy Patty and Martha Bell Morton. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Phillips and Pam Wilson (Jeff); her siblings, Wayne Patty (Janice), Denny Patty (Faye), June Shular and Reva Nail (R. E.); her grandchildren, Brooke Taylor (Jonathan) and Brandon Malone (Micah); and her great grandchildren, Ella Malone and Araya Taylor.
Even then she continued doing hair part-time until she officially retired in 2020 because of Covid.
