It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Johnson of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Baldwyn, Mississippi, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Johnson and Jewell Johnson; and his brothers, Elmer, Billy and Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Rodney Johnson and Christi Kawa (Chris); his grandchildren, Tiffanie King (Nate), Rodney Johnson II (Elaina), Savannah, Max, Jack, Samuel, Luke and Ben Kawa; his great grandchildren, Able, Addie and Emmaline Blu; and his siblings, Nita, Elton, Andy and Gerald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
