She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Long and Pauline Long; and her brother Billy Long (Phyllis). She is survived by: her husband Hubert Garland; her children, Tim Garland (Rita) and Teresa Eakens (Eugene); her grandsons, John Clay Garland (Jennifer), Aaron Garland (Meagan), Caleb Eakens (Kaci) and Eli Eakens; her great grandchildren, Drew, Anna Katherine Garland, Porter and Owen Eakens; and her aunts, Helen Turner and Mildred Thompson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCammon-Ammons-Click (220 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Kagley's Chapel.
