She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Compton and Wiley Compton; her husband Doyle W. Whitehead; and her son Wiley Houston Whitehead. She is survived by: her children, Doyle L. Whitehead (Ginger) and Judy Whitehead Parris (Loren); and her sister-in-law Betty Compton. She is also survived by 4 granddaughters; 4 great-granddaughters; 5 great-grandsons; 1 great-great-grandson.
Due to Covid-19, Mable has requested no services be held because she doesn't "want to take a chance on anybody getting sick because of me.".
