He was predeceased by: his parents, Inza Parsons and Lynn Lee Shasteen; and his stepmother Gladys. He is survived by: his wife Haroldine Byerley Shasteen; his daughters, Susan Foster (Tommy) and Pamela Pickett (Phillip); his grandchildren, Erika Morgan (Michael), Stephen Pickett (Mandy), Rob Foster (Melissa) and Alyssa Isenhour (Douglas); and his great grandchildren, Evan Morgan, Jack Morgan, Noelle "Ellie" Morgan, Ava Pickett, Austin Pickett and Addison "Addie" Isenhour.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
