He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Sue Baker; his siblings, Patsy Lynn Farnsworth and Michael Ray Ridings; and his grandchildren, Laci Miranda-Adair Long, Shawn Jeremiah "Cody" Bowers and Brandon Howard Long.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Evelyn Abbott, Jimmy Troy Ridings (Anna) and Kelly Ridings (Andrea); his daughters, Tami D. Ridings Bowers (Robert) and Mitzi D. Ridings Long (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Casey Bowers Suarez (Paul), Corey Bowers Kirkland (Austin), Jamie Long (Leah), Kadie Keller (Derek) and Meghan Long. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
The family request that in lieu of flowers please graciously give to the Alzheimer's Association or Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
