We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lorene Frances Williams of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Caleb Smith Sr. and Euda Powell Smith; her husband Joe Harris Williams; and her siblings, Caleb Jr., James, Powell Smith, Willie Mai Edwards, Leone Bellenfant and Juanita Edwards.

She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Williams (Marilyn) of Maryville and Gerry (Gail) of Tucker, Georgia; her grandchildren, John Williams (Jama), David Williams, Janet Hachem, Joanne Fields (Gene) and Sharon Baringham; and her stepgranddaughter Kristi Barber (Ken). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; four great great, grandchildren.

Due to Covid concerns, a private family service and interment was conducted at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Joe Green officiating.

“Glenn, I was so sad to hear of your moms passing. I attended Sunday School with mom and dad so I got to spend a little time with your mom. She was a total delight!!!! Mom and daddy loved her. Mom has been in the hospital so she’s a little out of touch. We hope to get her in assisted living soon. Just wanted you to know why you hadn’t seen a card from mom. We are thinking of you.
