She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Jackson and Edna Jackson; her former husband Monte Payne; her brother Bud Jackson; and her in-laws, Earl and Mildred Whitehead.

She is survived by: her husband Earl H. Whitehead Jr.; her children, Steve Whitehead and Beth; her son-in-law Mike Baldwin; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Westmoreland (Austin), David Gibson, Jon Whitehead and Hayleigh Simpson (Chase). She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (1102 Big Springs Rd, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (3504 Laws Chapel Rd, Maryville, TN 37803).
