He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Kenneth Yunker and Barbara Lambert Yunker; his sister Susan Thompson; and his brother-in-law Tommy Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Gail Yunker; his daughter Hayley Lind; his son-in-law Kurt Lind; and his grandchildren, Kurt Jr., Scarlett and Carson.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Fairview United Methodist Church (2508 Old Niles Ferry Rd, Maryville, TN 37803).
