Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kenneth Smith of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 78, on December 3, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Smith and Marie Smith; his father-in-law Jake; and his brothers, Paul Smith and Albert Smith (Joyce).

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Alma McGhee of Greenback, TN.; his wife Alma Sue Smith; his sons, David Smith (Karen) and Dennis Smith (Julie); his grandchildren, Baylee Pressley (Micah), Madison Smith (Haden Townsend) and Makenzie Williams (Josh); his great grandchild Rhett Williams; his sister Mary Martha Roddy (George); and his nephews, Paul "Buster" Smith (Teresa) and Jeff Smith (Kathy).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in memory of Gumbo Smith to Oakland Trigonia Cemetery Association at mailing address 812 Trigonia Road, Maryville, TN 37801.
