He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Meadows Altom; his children, Eric (Kelly), Kent (Charla) and Kelli (John); his grandchildren, Mac (Abbey), John, Carly and Max; his brother George (Lark); his nephew Ben (Jen); his niece Paige (Drew); and also Roland.
