He was predeceased by: his granddaughters, Regina K. Gentry and Jeana Rose Swihart; his parents, Earl Gentry and Jewell Gentry; his sister Earlene; and his brothers-in-law, Tom McGuffey and Sterling Post.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta "Rosie" Gentry; his sons, David Gentry (Teresa), Tim Gentry (Janice) and Mark Gentry (Julie); his grandchildren, Rebecca Franklin, Jason Gentry, Daniel Gentry, Anthony Gentry, Allison Gentry, Andrew Gentry, Makayla White and Mikey White; his great great grandchild Renee Rose; and his sister Melissa Post. He is also survived by several loving great-grandchildren.
