It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katty Sue Bookout of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilly Sellars and Floyd Sellars; her siblings, Willie Hipps, Harvey'Kay'Sellars, Ed Sellars, Dale Melson, Margie Chambers, Maggie Beasley and Johnny Watkins; and her nephews, Matthew and Scott Sellars.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Bookout; her son Scott Bookout (Liz); her grandchildren, Hannah and Caleb Bookout; and her great grandchildren, Blair Bookout and Jaycee Fetner.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Knob Road Missionary Baptist Church (2023 Knob Rd, Maryville, TN 37803).
