She was predeceased by: her husband Pearson Butler; her parents, William A. "Bill" Coning and Mary Netta Best Coning; her sister Julia Swaney (Don); her daughter-in-law Donna Dotson Butler; and her granddaughter Bethaney Butler.
She is survived by: her sons, William Butler (Robin True) and James Butler; her niece Teresa Swaney Edmondson (Scott); her grandchildren, Tyler Butler (Autumn) of Kenmore and Megan Butler of Oak Ridge; and her brothers, Albert Coning (Betty) and Frank Coning (Janis).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain View Church of Christ or Johnson University (Class of '76 Fund).
