With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lynne Haywood Sawyer of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Tom Sawyer; her parents, Carolyn Lescalleet (Sonny) and Fred Haywood (Sally); her brother David Haywood; and her pets, Giselle, Sebastian, Sully, Ariel and Tinkerbell.

The family asks in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the 3, 4 and 5 year old kids Sunday School Class or Celebrate Recovery Program C/O Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 9919 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37922.
