She was predeceased by: her father Daniel Lawson; her stepfather William Swenson; and her aunts and uncles, Ruth, Earl Hutsell of Maryville, Ken and Lacy Tippins of Charlotte, NC..
She is survived by: her mother Peggy Swenson; her stepmother Gaynell Lawson; her stepsiblings, Bill Swenson, Esther Iles and Mindy Stooksbury; her nephew Ian Murphy of Knoxville; and her aunts and uncles, Kathy, Randy Deere of Bowling Green, Claire and Tom Hewitt of Richmond, Virginia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Concord United Methodist Church (11020 Roane Dr, Knoxville, TN 37934). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Concord United Methodist Church (11020 Roane Dr, Knoxville, TN 37934).
In lieu of flowers, friends and family members are encouraged to donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the Knoxville Choral Society.
