She was predeceased by: her husband James; her sons, Jerry Lynn Sherwood, James Larry Sherwood and Wendell Sherwood; and her granddaughter Bridget Nicole Sherwood.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Joe Sherwood (Kim), Jon Christopher Sherwood of Maryville and Carol Sharp (Johnny Allen) of Etowah. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
