Joyce Bundy Tipton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Bundy Tipton of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Moyock, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enness Linwood and Grace Aydlett Bundy; her husband Gerald A. "Jerry" Tipton; her stepson Allen Tipton; and her siblings, E. L., Sheldon Bundy and Jean White.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Armesto (Alberto) of Woodbridge, Virginia and Martin Armbrester (Maria) of Maryville, Tennessee; her stepdaughters, Deanna Campbell (William "Bill") of Cumming and Carol Foster (Brad) of Lenexa, Kansas; and her sister Carolyn Davis of Currituck. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Joyce Bundy Tipton to the Murphy First Baptist Church, 517 Hiwassee Street, Murphy, NC 28906.
