He is survived by: his wife Heather Rusch Doan; his stepchildren, Madison Jones and Ethan Jagger; his in-laws, Cynthia and Larry Rusch (PA); his sister-in-law Lindsay Rusch (NH); his pets, Fern and Gator; his brother Kendall Doan (Karen Doan) of Southport, NC; and his aunts and uncles, Peggy Buckner of Burnsville, Polly Austin (Stokes) of Burnsville, Alice Witt (Jim) of Burnsville, Gail Reed of Canton, GA and Lois Gornto (Norris) of Shelby, NC.
