He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Elliott and Clara Mae Coffey Elliott; and his siblings, Jack, Glenn, Lynn Elliott and Betty Abbott.

He is survived by: his daughters, Regina DeLong (Tim) and Paula Elliott (Greg Malcomb); his grandson Mark DeLong (Lauren); and his brothers, Grady, Wayne (Nelda), Vic Elliott and Ken Trickey.
