With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Ernest Whisnant of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 29, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy P. Whisnant and Minnie Whisnant (Phyllis Jean Price). He is survived by: his children, Dwight Whisnant of Bradenton, Lewis (Sandy Whisnant), Glen (Joyce Whisnant), Tim (Linda Studebaker) and Carol Jean Whisnant of Lakewood, CO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church Maryville.
