He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Frank Burchfield and Hallie Burchfield Atchley (Fox); and his son Terry Burchfield. He is survived by: his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Thomas Kohntopp; and his cousin Boyd Thomas.
