She was predeceased by: her father Chester V. Gentry; her sister Cathy Smith; and her grandparents, Sam, Radie Gentry, Dan and Hilda Blair.
She is survived by: her mother Jeanith F. Blair Gentry; her brother Nathan Gentry (Amy); her son Desmond Smith (Emily); her grandchildren, Darcie and Daniel Smith; her sisters, Carla Tipton, Queenie Locklear and Debbie Lunker; and also, Edmond Smith and Sheyrena Smith. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
