With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice Farris (Maryville, Tennessee), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janice left this world on November 8, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elmer and Zella Irene Rudd; and her sisters, Shirley Dunnagan and Nancy Farmer (Billy Farris). She is survived by: her husband Robert Wesley Bivens; her children, Diane Hodges (Kerry), David Bivens and Linda Holloway; her grandchildren, Stuart Bivens, Jonathan Petty (Racheal), Halee Bivens, Cassidy McSpadden, Katelyn Bivens, Emily Holloway and Jennifer Holloway; and her great grandchildren, Reagan, Hannah, Julian and Wesley.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803).
Janice loved dogs above all, and in lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to Maryville Alcoa Animal Rescue Center, which is where she found her last love, her Dolly.
