He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gooden and Genevieve Gooden; and his siblings, Quinton and Donna. He is survived by: his wife Pam Gooden; his children, Jimmy, Steve and Emelie; his grandchildren, Jay, Chase, Oona, Oren and River; and his siblings, Mary, Janice and Johnny.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Morganton Cemetery.
