He is survived by: his children, Boyce Eugene Smith (Beth) of Maryville, TN and Vicki Lynn Holland (Walter) of McEwen, TN; his grandsons, Christopher Boyce Smith of Knoxville, TN, Blake Edward Smith (Erica) of Maryville, TN, Jason Holland (Crystal) of Nashville, TN and Walter Lynn Holland of Louisville, KY; and his great grandchildren, Katlin and Aubrey Holland.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blount Memorial Foundation.
