He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Easter and Rev. Frank Easter; his wife Frances; and his brothers, Richard Easter, Rick Easter and Chico.
He is survived by: his son James; his daughter-in-law Cindy Easter; his sister Pam; his brother-in-law Larry Hodge; and his grandchildren, Lucy Frances Easter and James Kristopher Easter, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Madison Avenue Baptist Church (1918 Madison Ave, Maryville, TN 37804). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Zion's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
