He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret E. Miller and John S. Humphreys; his daughter Cindy Humphreys; his brother Lynn Humphreys; his brother-in-law Felix Knight; and his stepson Rodney Shore.

He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Humphreys; his sons, Don and Wesley Humphreys (Peggy); his stepchildren, Brad Shore (Judy) and Beth Pankratz; his sister Helen Knight; his grandchildren, Bailey Humphreys, Brody, Samuel Pankratz, Courtney Humphreys, Brennan Pilgreen (Alex), Emily Burgess (Jeffery), Sarah, Allison Shore and Ellen Pankratz; his great grandchild Aiden; and his brother Oliver.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Monte Vista Baptist Church in Jack's honor.
