He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Jones and Virgil Jones; and his siblings, Jay I, Bobby, Ronnie Allen, Betty, Mary Lorene, Barbara Sue, Wilma and Joyce.

He is survived by: his brother Micky; and his sister-in-law Betty Jones.
