He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Myers; his daughter Robin Burchfield; his brother Tim Myers; and his parents, Sanford Myers and Thelma Myers Shinpaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Myers, Todd Myers (Sue) and Debbie VanHall (Travis); his siblings, John Shinpaugh (Hazel) and Karen Eskew; his son-in-law Gary Burchfield; his grandson Brandon Burchfield (Shala); his great grandchild Camden; his grandchild Loren Sliger (Chase); his great grandchildren, Gary, Griffin and Dustin Myers; his son Denali; and his aunt Faye Hansen (Fred).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Forest Hill Baptist Church.
