He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joanne, Lynn and Jimmy Yount; and his parents, Evelyn Yount and James Peterson Yount.
He is survived by: his wife Kitty (Alice); his children, Buddy (Harold Henson Jr.) and Laura Yount (Jason Budde); his grandchildren, Morgan, Alex Yount, Anna and Caroline Budde; and his siblings-in-law, Connie, Richard Green and Shirley Yount. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
