It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Woodward Byrd of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Adell Woodward Bird of Marietta, GA and Betty Mabel Woodward of Decatur, GA.; and her husband Nathan Allen Byrd of Ozark. She is survived by: her children, Robin Johnston (Eddie) of Newark, DE and Allen Byrd (Debbie) of Maryville, TN; and her grandchildren, Nathan Bowman Johnston (Kate) of Philadelphia, PA, Michael Johnston (Heather) of Newport, DE, Anna Bird (Nate) of Wilmington, DE, Kristi Byrd of Cleveland, TN and David Byrd (Mary) of Knoxville, TN.. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, a sisterin- law and brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
