He is survived by: his wife Ellner Jane Abbott Perkins; his children, Dennis E. Perkins and Amy Jones (Eric); his grandchildren, Caden Jones and Kinsey Jones; and his siblings, Don Perkins and Sandy Hutsell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
