He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Goforth and Mary Teffeteller Goforth Lowe; his wife Betty Boring Goforth; his son Jamie Goforth; his grandson Randall Quiett; and his siblings, Doug Goforth (Sharon), Bill Goforth (Mae), Louise Starrett, Cora Herron and Edith.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Mullins (Dean), Anita Forsythe (Roger), Randy Goforth, Melissa Steelman (Jason) and Ronnie Goforth (Kim); his stepchildren, Connie Jones, Rhonda Hawkins and Billy Green; his grandchildren, Deanna Buckner (Bill), Adam Mullins (Sonja), Jonathan Swicegood (Connie), Jennifer, Travis, Logan Goforth, Jonathan J. Blair, Rebeka Ervin (Jake), Tyler Goforth, Emily Rhea Goforth, Josh, Jimmie Jollay, Jessica, Dewayne Schrimsher, Danny Schrimsher and Blake Crowe; his great grandchildren, Parker Sise, Taylor Everett, Isaac Miskell, Emory Pedigo, Zachary, Bryson Swicegood, Ethan Sutley, Aiden Mullins, Leigha Grant, Erin Quiett and Lincoln Ervin; and his sister Frankie Jenkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
