He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Garner and Edna Garner; and his siblings, Allen, Raymond Garner and Mary Lynn Hatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Garner; his sons, Richard Garner (Tracey) and Scott Garner; his granddaughter Chelsey Williams (Roger); his great grandchild Ruthie Grace Williams; and his niece Patsy Meyee.
