She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvin Coada and Mary Jane Cable Coada; her husband Charles R. Johnson; her son David Ray Johnson; and her siblings, Ray, Roy, Leon, Jerry Coada, June Jones, Johnnie Shinpaugh and Mary Ruth Hunt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Campbell, Karen Huskey and Vickie Keck; and her grandchildren, James Johnson, David Breeden, Bettye Wilson, Shannon Odom and Talehma Bright. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
