Dora Lou Goans Stinnett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Lou Goans Stinnett (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wesley and Bertha Reynolds Goans; her siblings, Wade (Novella Goans), Wesley (Mildred Goans), Oscar (Wilma Jean Goans) and Madeline Goans Moore (Fred Goans); her brother-in-law Don Stinnett; and her daughter-in-law Sonja Stinnett.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Taylor Stinnett; her sister-in-law Kathy Stinnett of Knoxville; her son Tom; her daughter-in-law Patty Stinnett of Friendsville; her daughter Carol; her son-in-law Harold Hord of Friendsville; her son Ernie Stinnett of Greenback; her grandchildren, Alyson Flynn (Zach), Taylor Stinnett, Jessica Hord, Robert Hord (Buzz), Andrew Hord, Michelle Stinnett McCarter and Ernie Stinnett Jr. (Bree); and her great grandchildren, Mason McCarter, Trevor McCarter, Miranda Bowen, Lily Flynn, Elizabeth Flynn, Wyatt Stinnett, Waylon Stinnett and Rylie Myers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
